Simply add 1 to 2 teaspoons of our fruit infusions to your second ferment for the ultimate flavour boost! Ratio is approximately 1 to 2 teaspoons infusion to 1 litre fermented beverage.
Peach and Rose Petal Sundae Ingredients:
Wineberries, currants, hibiscus, strawberries, peach & rose petals.
Once you have fermented your kombucha or water kefer, strain it into a thick glass bottle with an airtight lid. You must use a proper brewing bottle because some fruits can create quite a lot of fizz and you can risk the bottle breaking if it is not strong enough. Add your flavour infusion and let it sit at room temperature for a few days. Place a towel over your bottle and aim it away from you, and carefully open the lid once a day to let the gasses escape. When you are satisfied with the fizz and the taste, put it in the refrigerator to stop the fermentation process.
